Hi Kalyn. Good luck! I'm always amazed at how I can have times where I've exercised consistently for several months and then all of the sudden I find I've slipped out of the habit and its been weeks/months. Having the habit be daily (even if some days are a very small amount) has made a huge difference for me over the last year or so. Seems to keep the momentum going.
Good luck and welcome
Hi crispinhay glad to see your update. Nice to make some progress on the housing move.

Both habits were pretty minimal today but I'm glad to have done something on them. Looking forward to an April health habit- probably something to improve eating. Eating junk food seems to be my default stress reliever
Have a great day all
Just checking in to say Hi, and to confess that I have kept some habits up during the flat sale/purchase, moving everything into storage process, and not others. Kept sitting at least once a day, eating relatively mindfulling - not pushing weights at all ... but then that seems superfluous when you're logging boxes of hardback books around all day.
off for a few days, will get back on the case - the craziest bit is over now
take care, all
My new habit for this month is exercise.
Hi, my name is Kalyn. There was a time when I was consistently exercising. I fell off the wagon.
well, it is time to get back on again. My habit is to do at least 10 minutes of exercise daily.

Bugalooski - I prefer to set a timer but often I KNOW when I have spent at least 15 minutes that day decluttering or organizing, I tick the box. I hate to think of what things would look like here if I did not do that. It is amazing what gets done in such a short time.

So sorry to be behind -- I have to report daily even when I don't do all of my habits. Here's my catch up. Then I recommit to every day reporting:
Goal 1: Walking every day no matter what, even if it's just around the block: On average, I have been walking 4/5 times a week, usually about 20-30 mn each time. It's been much more fun outside lately, as it is warming up and the birds are singing, there is more light in the AM.
Goal 2: 10-mn of decluttering daily. Falling apart on this one. Though I seem to constantly be tidying and picking up after myself and my family, I can't count that, it's not what I meant by the goal. I only count this when I actually set the timer for 10 minutes. I did subscribe to FLY Lady which I haven't been embracing.
Goal 3: One Project a week in March: I did do mending while watching the Oscars on Sunday. Didn't finish it all, but most of it.
Other new habits: weekly yoga class, weekly writing class during March. Also, being trained as an art liaison at my daughter's school. Probably too much. Ugh.
Thanks for listening and have a great day whenever you read this.
I think my last update got sucked into cyber space. Hopefully this isn't a repeat
@ ceg130- thank you !! how true that quote is
@ crispinhay- keep up the good work on your habits during the selling/buying time. It will be worth it in the long run if you can stick with them. I have both a friend and sister in the similar buying/selling situations and they are definitely stressed. I would be too. I'm impressed you've stuck with the majority of your habits during this time.
