Yay, one week under my belt. Yesterday's crossfit WOD, bench press with bodyweight(i scaled back to 155) for 12 to 15 reps followed by max number of pullups without rest. Both of those excercises for 5 rounds. I'm soooooooo sore this morning.

Last night was almost good. I'm a Type 1 diabetic and miscalculated my insulin dose, around 11:15pm I had a blood sugar low and needed to consume enough sugar to bring my blood sugar back up.
Oh well, I'll keep pluggin away. Yesterday's crossfit WOD was heavy front squats, that was fun, haven't done stuff like that since I was in college which was quite awhile ago.

Day 5 Down! Crossfit WOD was a modified "Nancy", 500 meter row followed by 15 overhead squats, 5 sets of those for time, hit 23 minutes 49 seconds. Made it to the crossfit facility just before 6am, it was 5 degrees outside. 5 degrees is really cold.

Yay! Day 3 Done! I hope the weekend was the hardest part of not eating or drinking(alcohol) after 7pm, because it took everything I had to not break my new habit!

Re: How to get up earlier?

Hi!
I'm a software developer so I'm used to late nights, what helped me get up early was setting a REALLY annoying alarm clock far enough away that I'd have to get up to turn it off. (Big Ben's are annoying alarm clocks: http://www.alarmclocksonline.com/47601.htm)
But as madalsa points out, food(as well as exercise[or lack of]) has a big impact on sleeping too.
I'm Chris - My new habit will be no eating or drinking(alcohol) after 7pm

I usually break down on the weekends after casual drinking, then I order something, pizza or chinese food at like 10pm. I end up feeling horrible the next day.
I'm going all out on a crossfit(http://crossfit.com/) program for 6 weeks, which means no eating out and no alcohol for the entire 6 weeks, beginning Jan 1, 2009. The no eating after 7pm will help me with the program.
