Daily reporting for 16th April
Hi all,
did my One Goal MIT as soon as possible today. I downgraded from 3 MITs a day to 1 MIT a day and things flow much better now. Usually I do even more than before. The power of less works, hehe. Have a nice day everybody & enjoy your springtime.
The alarm went off at 5:30, I lay in a daze listening to the BBC till 6:00 :-(
Did emails for 30 minutes.
Walked 7968 steps yesterday, it rained all day.
Counted calories, ate too much. Oh well. April really is the cruelest month in academia.
Hi Everyone,
Worked on my novel for half an hour this morning. I'm preoccupied with an event I need to prepare for (another of my MITs for the next week) so I shifted to this project. Still happy that I started wtih the novel, though!
Enjoy your days!
Day 16 of 30
____________________________________________________
April Goal: Work on novel for 10 minutes immediately after coffee and writing down 3 MITs.
Project: Finish novel
Goal: Make my living as a writer.
Hi all. Running this morning. 1 soda yesterday. starting a new habit next week. not sure what yet. so many I'd like to try but also know that next month will be very busy and don't want to lose progress on my current ones. Thanks all for reporting and have a great day.
hey all,
day 29/30 my daily task done.
i greatly enjoy from my new habit in the last 29 days!!! take a photo each day. my photography skills improved every day and i find out interesting things about the world through this. i am sure that i will continue with this habit.
still think over what will be my new habit.
see you tomorrow at my 30 day ![]()
Day 25: decluttered for [well over] 15 minutes after doing hanzi this morning
Day 85: got up more or less immediately when alarm went off. I'm starting to feel like i'm generally more in control in the mornings... although i'm not jumping out of bed immediately without thinking as soon as the alarm goes off, i'm alert enough not to do the thing where i turn the alarm off or snooze for an hour without even realizing what's going on... and that's meaningful progress!
JAN: Read 30+ minutes: Lolita in Tehran by Azar Nafisi (am attending her talk next week)
FEB: Declutter/Organise 15+ minutes: Cleared surface clutter
MAR: Stretch 10+ min:
APR: Food Log + Better Food Decision - decaf capuccino instead of dessert at dinner
Be sure that you have never had any regrets in your life which only lasts for a few decades. Laugh or cry as you like, and it is meaningless to oppress yourself.

I didn't get up this morning, I just slept in. First time in quite a while that I've blown off my early rising that completely. I told myself it was because of the cold. Also, I was bummed out because my son's surgery was supposed to be today, and got postponed because he's sick.
