Hey guys ,

Have had limited online time last couple of days  - but all good still on track with the early mornings.

Interestingly I now see  06:00am as a sleep in  - would have thought that at the beginning of the month.

Do think the incentive to get up & go the gym has assisted in keeping this going on those hard days - its is increasingly becoming" just what i do"

@roundballnz - I know what you mean about 6am starting to look like a sleep in.

Didn't make 4am this morning; got up at 5.30, but I'm not too worried because I've been working very long hours for the past week and exhaustion was bound to catch up with me.  But I'm good to get back to my new 4am habit.

Finish modified sun salutations -- still recovering from the flu. It's hard to establish a new habit with interruptions like that!

Up very late last night and up with the kid at 3 am. The alarm at 6 am was a shock to the system, and I got up at 6:10.

I'm feeling stuck on the novel, so I'm working on a blog post instead. I'm definitely over the honeymoon phase with changing this habit, and I think I need to go back to basics, move the rising time later (6:30) and focus on getting out of bed when it goes off. Next month's habit will definitely be about going to bed earlier, 11 pm has been really hard to manage.

Seems that many either stopped their new habit or do no reporting any more:
January / Posts
10 / 110
11 / 100
12 / 103
13 / 96
14 / 92
15 / 75
16 / 58
...
...
31 / 0?
It's a pity. One month is quite long ...
All the best to everybody who do their new habit everyday.

Leo, where are YOU?

Day 16.  My day is planned out before 9:15 and I have checked my email except my work account:) as it is Saturday...

Normally, I'm not as awake at 6:30 as I am today and I'm ready to do things... My day is planned out, but I'm more likely to take something off my to-do list instead of add:)

Enjoy Your Day.

Yoga practice done. I do it earlier for the weekend and found it's nice that way. I just changed the trigger.

Today I am thankful for: 1. a friend, who I haven't heard from in a long time, just sent me an email; 2. a fellow blogger told me the info I gave him was awesome; 3.  some High School students in ND just sent me a survey asking how they could help include people with disabilities in their school activities.

I'm still here.
Got off to a strong start with daily drawing or painting and find that it's dwindling. It is HARD to create or change a habit and you have to keep going if you really want to do it.
Daily reporting just helps keep me on track and lets me see where I am. I think of my lapses not as failures, but as feedback. I can see that I'm not staying aligned with my goal.
Yesterday I did some drawing for the new painting, but wasn't really engaged. Today I want to put some quality time in.

Hi everyone,
This is Day 20 for me and I have to admit, I've fallen off the exercise wagon this week.  ...But I'm determined to get back on track.  I'm missing it and really want to finish the challenge on a good note.
I'm not sure exactly why I got off track, probably a combination of things.  I'm getting over a cold, I'm working full time, my husband's in school and is student teaching and we have a 2 year old who's been up a bit during the nights and waking super early.  By the time I make it home I'm ready for bed.  ;-)
On Sunday, I was feeling so good about the challenge and building in time for yoga, etc.  What a difference a day or so makes......  I didn't squeeze it in the mornings or the evenings this week.
I think what I need to keep reminding myself is "10 minutes a day", just 10 minutes - I keep thinking a "workout" needs to = 1/2 hour or more.  I need to adjust that in my mind and just work it in.  Last night, I danced for a good 10 to 15 minutes with my son and that was the most fun I've had exercising in a while.  :-)
Take care and have a good weekend, everyone.
:-)  Kat
PS  Petrv, great job on the 10K!

Day 20 of 30....
Getting there!  My daily morning yoga practice is becoming something I don't think I would want to start the day without.  For the past 20 mornings I have gotten up, rolled out my mat, and practiced my yoga for a minimum of 10 minutes (even though I always go way beyond 10 minutes).  It has made a difference in how I feel, how I approach my day, etc.  It is a subtle shift but a viable one that I want to maintain.  This is a habit I can keep and I will keep it!
Good luck everyone.
Namaste....peace be with you.
