Another successful morning - up by 04:50 - not bad for a Monday morning

always helps when there is something to want to get done though

This morning I completed my 3 minutes - and I felt a bit better about practicing my meditation each day than I did yesterday. Which I'm relieved about.

Haven't found a formal time to do my 10 mins drawing yet but I'm still getting it done, and I usually feel better afterwards :)

Hey

Missed reporting yesterday, but not doing my habit.
Woke up this morning at 04.15, so now I'm finished with paper organizing and have 2 extra hours for reading a book...

Day 12 of zazen - done.

This is the point where I'm asking myself: do I need something more? For now, probably not. After 30 days of getting into the habit I'll think about "improving" and "advancing." For now, just stick to what you have, and repeat every morning. No rush - now in a new sense.

It sure feels good to start your day this way.

Woke up at 5:15AM EST. Getting closer to my goal of 5AM. Went to sleep at 11:30 after laying in bed for an hour. Usually fall asleep instantly- not used to laying there. My wife and I try to watch an inspiring movie each Sunday night. Last night was Rudy. Cool list I made http://www.squidoo.com/bestinspirationalmovies

Ronn01 – Day 12 of recording my dreams and thoughts upon waking. I am thinking about the things I have to do today, which is the first day on not having to go the “9 to 5” but it is not as exhilarating as I thought it would be but it is still delightful. As I was scrolling down the posts to make my entry I stumbled upon normalno’s post, which reminded me to stay in the present and that there is “No rush.” Thanks.

Today I am thankful for: 1. Aaron slept through the night and didn't wet the bed; 2. Dinner last night went so well I felt like Betty Crocker; 3. Lady at my mom's retirement home gave Aaron a high five when he kept saying, "You OK?"

Day 12. Flu passed, fortunately. Did leglifts and pushups today.
