Day 10, and 10 minutes of zazen done. Read a bit before it, to set my mind right, which worked, I was not distracted.
Daily Reporting for 10th January
I didn't add to the forum for 1/9, but did well on my challenge of collecting all random thoughts, tidbits, etc. into my moleskine for collection. I will report back tonight on 1/10!!
DAY 3
Up at 5AM. Lit my candle at my desk (trigger). -- Completing last edits on a couple of paragraphs I didn't do last night (too tired). It should only take a few minutes to complete those then I'm on schedule to complete 2 pages before midnight.
Day 3 -- So far so good.
Day 2: Emailed Viet!
Received a very long, sweet, and thoughtful email from Charles who I emailed yesterday!
Day 10. Did my leg lifts, and then I went running for 30 minutes.
Good morning everyone!
Yesterday I did a drawing in preparation for a new painting. I am redoing the painting I just finished in a smaller format, and hopefully making some improvements.
With each painting I learn something and KNOW I am learning, and that is what makes the process so meaningful.
Plan to start the painting today.
Day 5- Done. Things are going well but I am starting to see why I'll probably need 30 days in a row for this habit to stick
Joanne-Determine and write down MITs each day
Day 8: Today didn't work out. Since this is a weekend day, goal was up by 7AM (triggered by 6:55AM alarm). Very little sleep yesterday, I think I had a little catching up to do as didn't get up until 8:30AM or so. Tomorrow is another day.
Day 1: Woke up, drank my glass of water at 7:30am, seemed to keep me awake. So far, so good.
Another 10 minutes trying to get a handle on my sources - I figure if I don't understand where I am and what I have, I won't know how to move forward. It's so hard to think/believe that this is actually getting towards my goal, but 10 minutes is better than no minutes. Off to see what's next on the list for today....
Day 12 of 30!
Today is Saturday and my 10 minute morning yoga practice extended to 27 minutes. I find that I rarely do just 10 minutes because once I start I just tune in to my body's needs. That is part of the reason I selected yoga as my first challenge...I was striving for the mind-body connection first thing in the morning.
Another great start to the day....Namaste, peace be with you.
fortunately i am more regular in my yoga than reporting on the forum. 9 on 9.
got up late ..thanks to weekend (after a super frustrating week at work).
But I am working both days this weekend which is something i chose to do.
Great weekend everyone !

Great job to all sticking with it (seems like most!) and to those who've dropped off, just get back on the horse! Even if you missed a few days, it's still better to get back on track than give up all together. Anything is better than nothing, right?
Day 17:
Read/pray: done - Spent more time pondering the reading, praying about it than in earlier days. Liking this. More transformational.
Blog: done
3x5 card: done
My tenth day! Today was difficult but I just imagined the chain I would have broken and that was my motivation to proceed with my today's visualization. :)
Day 6 of my meditation challenge complete. Tried half lotus position with opposite leg which about killed me-need to stick to what works.
My doughter is sick,so I couldn't post yesterday, we went to sleep early and tired, she's better, and I am going to really start my challenge today, after a week so stressed. But all this days I've been reviewing reports.
