So, I missed another day. I don't know why I seem to be skipping every other day it's killing me. The problem is I haven't yet figured out how to make this a REAL habit, so the only reason I keep remembering is when I check the zenhabits blog, and then BING it reminds me to do this challenge.

Anyway, I posted an interview I did with Lazy Man and Money.

If you have any ideas, please feel free to let me know how you remind yourself to write! I know there's a lot of bloggers here.

I am gritting my teeth and determined to do this .. if I can't stick to a promise to myself for 30 days I don't know what's going on! Anyway, another day, another (2) articles completed for BodyIncredible.com due to my challenge commitment - AND still managed to catch up on my emails. Now that's win-win!

Nearly the end of my first week back at work and have managed to avoid looking in the sales by bringing lunch and reading a paper at my desk at lunch time instead. £20 budgeted this week and so far only £1.99 spent! YAY! Maybe there is light at the end of the dark and distant tunnel...

That's 3 days in a row achieving my goal. What I like most of this "Power of less" commitment is that while you focus only on a small 10 mins task, you are pushed to do more.
It's like the 10 mins task is what is enough to complete the goal, but then if you got more time, you can do more while you are at it.
In my case, I always start with 10 mins of Chi-Kung exercise, but once the goal is completed, if I have time I keep exercising for 20 more mins.
Yes!

Day 9- total success :) Got up very early, got a shower and read next chapter about modules and mixins in Ruby. I am really enjoying myself learning about it.

Have a great day :)

Day 9 of daily zazen.

I figured out everything I need for now, and it goes pretty smooth. I'm already used to spending 10 minutes of my morning not DOING anything and feeling fine about it. Now it might be time to add more depth into it. I'll read something on zen meditation today/tonight to set my mind right for tomorrow.

day 5 i think. After a shaky start, 10 minute meditation completed. I swear I was spending more thinking about doing this than doing this. Best not to think about it.

sometimes I think that morning muscle pains are not from last night's activities: the muscles recover in 3-4 hours of sleep... it's more a bad thought which has woken up before we are fully awake and THAT is causing us morning pains, feeling of exhaustion or bad mood. The Alien is there before us (you know the Alien, that little saboteur inside us?)!

Ronn01 – Day nine of recording my dreams and thoughts upon waking. No dreams remembered. My thoughts are of the thing I need to do today, which is the last day of my nine to five. I am off to a new life adventure. It’s a little daunting giving up the perceived security of a regular paycheck. However, I think that my optimism and determination overshadows any fears I may have.

Day 9. Taking a semi-rest day, which I think is good, because going from exercising once/twice a week to every day is a big step. Today I just did leglifts (because those are daily, doctor's orders) and some light stretches.

This is my first day on the challenge and I chose to start with exercising. My husband got me Wii Fit and I used it everyday for awhile, but have slacked off. This morning I started out with 10 minutes, but will try to add 10 more this afternoon.
