My Challenge: to smile more :)
My Objective: to think, feel and act positive
My Trigger: when I make eye contact, talk, make phone call, sms, write email to people, when thinking of someone, when seeing my self in a mirror

Day 3: When I ride my bicycle to work I'm all serious face cause I concentrate on the road. Especially yesterday when I went home it was raining, and I rode slowly because the road is slippery. But I was cycling with a friend, and we talked and laughed and it felt good to smile all the way.

Day 8 - Wrote my diary downstairs as my husband had gone to bed early but it was the last thing I did before bed. I also rewarded myself today for having completed one week. It is already beginning to feel like I have always done this!

Day 4 for me went as well as Day 3: not so well.

My habit is to not eat ANY sweets after 8:00PM. I didn't succeed. Several chocoiate chip cookies later....

I am now 50 percent succesful in this challenge: 2 days good, 2 no dice. I'll try and skew the percentage in my favor this evening.

1st day I did NOT complete my new habit. A minor setback. I'll be back....

Jan. 8th, Day 3: Ate grapes with breakfast but completely forgot to do the same after lunch. I made up for it by having an orange after dinner. I'm going to change my trigger -- have the fruit prepared with my meal and that way I won't forget.

Actually did go running last night.. fairly proud of myself... I think it's getting easier too. Might even try to extend the distance. Just got e-mail from Fedex, shoes have arrived. I'm so excited to use the nike+ thing.

Day 8: Unfortunately, I did no tangible decluttering ... however, I did do some database organizing, so I guess I did some form of decluttering. The hubby lured me into an evening in front of the TV, saying I needed to relax. Well, now I have a sink full of dishes to deal with today. I think he gets it now that it is more relaxing to get it done and out of the way as soon as the mess occurs.

The house is still clean, though, so I suppose that counts. I always make the bed now when we are both up, straighten the couch cushions, put away laundry, etc. The habit must already be forming because I don't even count these things in my decluttering time frame, but I am indeed putting things in order. I just keep telling myself that I have to take pictures as evidence, and that keeps me motivated, even though I haven't taken a single shot ... :)

8 days of successful bedtime routine, though it was hard. I see that if I wait til I'm exhausted and want to just fall into bed that it's much harder for me to be motivated (though since I have to post here I'm doing it every night).

Perhaps if I go to bed before I'm completely tuckered out I'll actually *want* to do everything I've promised myself I'd do before bed. :-)

It's appearing that I have a problem with getting to my daily update.

I did my morning meditation in bed this (yesterday) morning.

I'm writing this on the 9th, refering to the 8th:
The day was so crazy that I didn't even had time to log in and admit not having done my 10 minutes of exercise.
I started my first sun salutation and got interrupted in the middle of it by my mother who needed help with something and I never got to finish, after that everything just got complicated and in the evening I was too exhausted to exercise.
I'm not proud, but I feel that I had a good reason for skipping a day.
