Jan 5, 2009 (Day 4) - School starts today yay. I woke up at 7:00am and when I drank the glass of water that I set next to my alarm clock, I felt really really good. I wasn't tired at all, it just felt really good. So I guess I wasn't affected by the 1:30 deficit that was made from my previous time. Thanks for reading.

Fifth day - first working day after my vacation. I wanted to prevent any problems so I got up at 5AM to make my morning rituals happen including my challenge - visualization for clarity & focus. Today's visualization was quite allright, I focused on results of my current project and visualized doing some particular project stages. My visions are not very clear, need to practice more, next time I will maybe invest more time into my visualization or add one extra shorter session before I get to bed.

I woke up at 8:00 am, but my alarm clock went off at 7:00 pm. I guess I had a very bad start because last night (after going to bed at 10:30 pm and reading untill 11:00 pm) I couldn't fall asleep :(. So I allready had to change my initial alarm setting of 6:00 pm.

But I've allready made myself a nice cup of tea and I am also drinking some apple juice, yay!

Day 5, and the first day of incorporating the new habit into my regular routine. (Holidays over.) I did 10 minutes of zazen, it was a bit harder than yesterday as I was (seemingly) pressed for time. After all, I got enough time not to rush, but the rush is not in the time, it's inside my mind. And it was very hard to get rid of it, because instead of relaxing and letting go, I couldn't help straining myself. Which, of course, is not the best option. Maybe it's also because I only got 6 hours of sleep.

I managed, though, 10 minutes. Hope it goes better tomorrow.

The holidays are over! So, it was up early, in the dark, the dreaded 6am alarm... argh! But the house is cosy, and there is snow on the ground outside so everything looks lovely. Just did 10 minutes of meditation but found it hard to concentrate. It wasn't at all like yesterday's relaxing experience. Perhaps i'm just too conscious of everything to be done today... so my mind was running around, planning today and the rest of the year. That's just where i am. Tommorrow will be better.

Got up as usual @ 06.00 and see snow on the street -- I hate that.
It will probably mean, that my bus will be late or even don't come at all.
Took a cup of Capuccino and did my papers nevertheless. Find it becoming easier to deal with them and think about an extra session this evening to empty the first box....

Back to work, wake-up earlier to have the time and no additional pressure before catching the train. Not so good today, may be due to the bad sleep...

Day 5: The alarm went off at 03h55, waking me up for 4am. Immediately got out of bed. Had gone to bed very late last night,so I'm quite chuffed that my body responded to the alarm clock.

Hi everyone,

Day 9 for me, I did my yoga practice for 10 minutes and it was easy.
I was wondering if I could wake up in time and do the yoga, because it was my first workday after the christmasvacation. But it wasn't hard at all. I really want to succeed my goal this time (30 days of yoga).

Got up a bit late, at 7 a.m. Started the day with pranayama for 25 minutes and then rushed to the track for a morning run of 5 km. Great time of 27:09 probably my best ever! Am I becoming a threat to all the seasoned runners or what...lol..And then journalled for 10 minutes.

Didn't exercise yesterday, but that's okay I guess because I have been training hard on the other days. 24th Jan race! Here I come!

Day 6. Did my 10 mins decluttering, feels great! Reflection: As my new habit is trigged to breakfast and done in the morning, it seems that my procrastinations of work etc during rest of day decreases. Hmmm, interesting.
